

After doing this I can still only choose 60hz. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but what I did was just create a resolution of 2560X1440 120hz (I'm not expecting 144hz at 1440p), clicked OK and rebooted. I've also tried using CRU to create a custom resolution. I've tried the drivers from the Acer site which are for Win 7/8.1 (they don't have any drivers for Win 10) and installed by disabling driver signature but this didn't seem to work either so with these drivers I'm still stick at 60hz.

I'm on Windows 10 which picks the monitor up as a Generic PNP Monitor. I'm in the process of arranging to get it sent in for a firmware upgrade and will do as soon as Acer decides to get back to me as they said they would.įor now I'm trying to connect over DVI Dual Link but the maximum I can set the refresh rate to is 60 and Crimson drivers report 75hz maximum resolution.
